On Day One, Michael Gebert (GER) was the first to launch from the Gaisberg. He plummeted to the valley only to watch his fellow competitors sky out over his head.

Just four days later, Gebert has gone from zero to hero. I just spoke to him as he prepared to launch over Lienz.

He is hoping a series of short flights will help him move even further up the leaderboard. Already in 12th position, it is an amazing effort and he credits his decisions over the past two days for his progress.

Gebert is hoping to round Tre Cime by the close of play today.
